The system can warn visually and audibly if typical characteristics of microsleep are detected. In combination with the 3D driver display or MBUX augmented reality head-up display (optional equipment), a camera in the driver display analyses the driver’s eyelid movements for an additional microsleep detection. Our ATTENTION ASSIST can detect and warn of typical signs of fatigue or increasing inattention during long, monotonous journeys. Experts estimate that the number of unreported cases is significantly higher.
